Every brand has a beginning, and for ZEMO, it all started with a simple idea during one of the most uncertain times in recent history.
Back in the height of the pandemic, like many others, I was looking for ways to earn a little extra. With the world on pause and most of us staying at home, I decided to start something small, something I could manage even with limited resources. That’s when I began selling plain t-shirts as a form of passive income.

What started as a basic reselling hustle soon sparked something bigger.
Surprisingly, the plain tees did really well. People loved the quality and fit, and that support pushed me to think, what if I created something more personal? Something that reflected more of my style and vision, and maybe even something people could connect with on a deeper level. So I took a leap.

I designed my first printed t-shirt, and just like that, ZEMO started evolving from a side hustle into a real brand. The response was amazing. Seeing people wear something I created, something that started as just an idea, was surreal and incredibly motivating.

From that first printed piece, I kept going. I experimented with new designs, tried different styles, and continued learning along the way. Each drop became a new chapter in ZEMO’s journey, built not just on style but on passion, persistence, and community.

ZEMO isn’t just a clothing brand. It’s a reminder that even in hard times, creativity can grow. It’s about starting small, staying real, and repping something local with pride.
How Filipinos Embraced Not-So-Ordinary Tees in the Streetwear Scene
In a world full of plain tees and safe styles, ZEMO set out to do something different, and the streets took notice.
When we first dropped our printed t-shirts, the designs were bold, loud, and unapologetically different. We knew it wasn’t going to be everyone’s thing. Big prints, oversized vibes, and statements that demand attention, it was a risk. But that risk? It became the very reason people started paying attention.

Breaking the Mold
Filipino streetwear has always had its own rhythm. From sneakers to vintage finds, there’s a strong sense of style in the streets, one that mixes influence with individuality. But when ZEMO entered the scene, we weren’t trying to blend in. We were here to stand out.
Instead of sticking to safe or minimal designs, we went for bold graphics, loud statements, and prints that tell a story. At first, we knew people might raise their eyebrows. But that’s the thing about streetwear, it’s built for those who dare to be different.
The Rise of Statement Pieces.
The moment our first big print tee hit the streets, we started getting messages. People asking where they could cop it. Others tagging us in their OOTDs. Some even told us they’d never worn anything “this loud” before, but they loved how it made them feel. Confident. Seen. Expressive.
That’s when we realized Filipinos were ready for something new. They didn’t just accept it; they owned it. They styled it their own way, mixed it with thrift finds, kicks, and even traditional pieces. Suddenly, ZEMO’s big prints weren’t just shirts, they were conversation starters.

Streetwear With a Filipino Edge
The growth of ZEMO proves one thing: Filipino style is evolving. We're no longer just following trends, we’re setting them. And we’re not afraid to take up space, literally and creatively.
At the end of the day, streetwear is about freedom. It’s about wearing what feels true to you. And for us, that truth just happens to come in oversized tees with big, bold prints.

This is Just the Beginning
ZEMO started with a simple shirt, but the people who wear it turned it into a statement. As we grow, we’ll keep pushing boundaries, embracing what makes us different, and repping Filipino creativity in every stitch.
ZEMO: Growth, Loyalty, and What’s Next for the Brand That Dares to Be Different.
ZEMO was never just about t-shirts. From day one, we wanted to offer something different, something bold. What started with simple designs during the pandemic quickly evolved into a local brand known for vibrant, colorful, oversized prints that broke the mold of traditional Filipino streetwear.
And thanks to you, our day-one supporters, loyal customers, and streetwear fam, ZEMO continues to grow beyond what we ever imagined.
Standing Out in the Scene
Let’s be real: the local scene was used to minimal, neutral-toned, “safe” fits. So when ZEMO dropped big, eye-catching graphics in loud, playful colors, it was a new vibe. And it was risky.
But that’s the whole point. We’re not here to blend in. We’re here to build something bold, expressive, and uniquely Filipino—something that shouts identity, not just style.
And guess what? The streets responded. You responded. And ZEMO took flight.
The Power of Loyalty
We wouldn’t be here without our loyal customers. From those who copped our first drop, to the ones who tag us every time they wear their favorite ZEMO tee, you’re the heart of this brand.
You embraced our not-so-ordinary designs. You showed up at our pop-ups, shared your fits online, and even convinced your friends to try something new. We see you, and we appreciate every bit of love you’ve given.
What to Expect in the Future of ZEMO
The journey doesn’t stop here. We’re building more than a brand, we’re building a community.
Bolder Designs, More Color.
We're pushing creativity even further. Expect new colorways, experimental prints, and fresh silhouettes that still stay true to that signature ZEMO energy.
Better Materials, Bigger Vision.
We’re investing in quality and comfort. Our future collections will use upgraded fabrics and refined fits, because we know how important both style and wearability are.
Collabs and Creative Projects.
We’re working on exciting collaborations with local artists and designers who share our love for boldness and originality. More art, more culture, more community.

ZEMO is More Than a Shirt, It’s a Statement.
In a world full of trends, ZEMO remains committed to creating clothes that speak louder. For those who dare to be different. For those who want to be seen. For those who know that streetwear isn’t just fashion, it’s identity.
To everyone who’s been part of this journey: this is just the beginning.
Let’s keep the movement alive. Let’s keep the colors loud. Let’s keep ZEMO real.
